An Illinois High School and Community College are Teaming to Give Students an Opportunity to Earn a Computer Science Degree with Their High School Diploma.

Normal Community West High School, in McClean County, and Heartland Community College have partnered to provide high school students with an opportunity to earn an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science while earning their high school diploma. 15 incoming freshmen will be chosen to participate in the dual-credit program, which will begin the summer before their junior year.
