“Remember that math is not difficult. Ask the reasons why and the math itself becomes very easy.””
Mr. Aaron Moskowitz has taught in face-to-face schools for seven years and online for five years. At Illinois Virtual School, he currently teaches AP Calculus and manage some of the math courses in the Credit Recovery program. Aaron has taught all levels of high school math, from Algebra 1 through Calculus. Some of the highlights of his career were creating a summer school program, AP calculus program, helping to redesign an Algebra 2 program for “struggling” students (we never saw them struggle…they did AMAZING), and a few nominations for awards (Who’s Who, Golden Apple, and some school level awards). One of the most unique things about Aaron is that he has been a student, teacher, and course developer in both face-to-face and online settings.
In addition to IVS, Aaron currently works for Trillium IDS, a company that helps institutions build online courses. He lives in Harvard, IL with his three children.
